We’re gonna Rock n Roll all night!!!
Mansfield is no ordinary wedding venue and one thing’s for sure Sam & Drew’s was no ordinary wedding! The happy couples’ love of Rock n Roll was evident throughout the big day and they had the coolest wedding cake on the planet! Bryony, our Wedding Designer, took on the challenge to design this fabulous wedding and combined Rock n Roll with sophistication and magic; details that made for an opulent and super glamorous day.
Planet Flowers, as always, helped to create an enchanting atmosphere with dashes of gold throughout and a forest of glowing golden trees. The murals and trees around the room, lit to stunning effect by Tower Productions, created a beautifully dark yet romantic atmosphere.
While guest marvelled at their surroundings they enjoyed canapés that featured Grandma's recipe of braised red cabbage with confit of pork cheeks and spiced candied peel; poached quail egg, aioli, lambs leaf and shaved truffle on fennel toast and mini haggis pies with honey braised roots and mash. A sumptuous dinner began with sweet potato velouté with roasted almonds and coconut, followed by braised daube of Highland Gold beef, caramelised baby onions, carrots and fondant potato with a gravy of cooking juices. A truly splendid finale featured the infamous Heritage hot and gooey chocolate tart with pistachio custard and crisp sugar wafers.
However we have to say the stars of the ‘show’, apart from the Bride & Groom of course, were Whisky Kiss, who provided brilliant and memorable entertainment for the happy couple and their guests. We loved every second of this magical wedding.
