Knorr Chef Of The Year - 2008

The Knorr National Chef of the Year competition is one of the oldest and mosted respected culinary competitions in the UK today. Now in its 19th Year the competion is run by the Craft Guild of Chefs in partnership with Knorr. It is open to all chefs in the UK over the age of 21.

The National Chef of the Year will be someone who demonstrates exceptional technical skill and produces food with flavour, texture, balance and style that is second-to-none. He or she will also be commercial, practical, efficient and well organised.

Heritage Portfolio's Head Chef Brian Canale beat off competition from hundreds of chefs and sailed through all of the heats and semi-finals to make it to the finals with just seven other chefs from around the UK.
