The 3nd annual CIS Excellence Awards took place on Thursday 18 May 2006 at the Hilton Glasgow.
The CIS Excellence Awards looks at rewarding the best talent that Scotland has to offer in the hospitality, catering and tourism industries.
Attended by the crème de la crème of the Scottish catering, hospitality and tourism industries, the Awards, known as the cullinary 'Oscars', were an outstanding success, with over 500 guests filling the Grand Ballroom of the Glasgow Hilton.
The Development Chef Award recognises the creativity of chefs involved in the Scottish foodservice and/or hospitality industries, with a responsibility for overseeing dishes from the initial concept through to their creation and implementation.
